There was no ‘journey to Yes’ for this amateur author despite the fact I only became passionate about Scottish independence over the past year. It was bleedin obvious how I was going to vote from the outset.
To be normal.
To be like every other independent country.
To feel as if what I think counts.
To be excited, ambitious and hopeful of my countries future.
Regardless of the result, and like many others, I don’t think I’ll go back in my box.

I’ve changed my mind. This blog was going to finish after the referendum as I didn’t believe whichever way the vote went there would be anything left to say. Judging by the reaction of independence supporters after the no vote I was completely wrong so I will continue to throw in my tuppence worth. Please continue to share any posts you feel are worthy of a wider audience.
